Santa Croce al Picco: Stunning Views and Classic Italian Dining in Sorrento

A short walk from our hotel, Prestige, after another hot day in Sorrento. This is a restaurant with one of the best views over Sorrento which, if you are lucky, can give you perfect sunsets. Food is good so all combined makes this a place to eat. Shrimp Risotto recommended.

Lovely looking restaurant with amazing views. The food was really good in my opinion but the portions are quite small. The service is nothing to talk about. Overall though it is a lovely location and good food. Prices are very reasonable too.

We had a wonderful meal here. I arranged a transfer from our hotel (in Sant'Agnello) directly with the restaurant. The restaurant is set in lovely grounds. The views are spectacular and seeing the sun set was amazing - we took so many photos. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and not expensive. It was the last night of our holiday and finished it off in an amazing fashion. All in all, I would say this is a must do if you are staying nearby.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views of sunset. We booked via hotel reception & the restaurant sent a minibus to pick us up. Restaurant is set in beautiful gardens. Food was good. Atmosphere would be improved if the music wasn't via live radio. All in all we had a lovely evening & would certainly return if in area again.

Amazing place, had read the reviews but blown away on arrival and the evening didn't fall short. Transfer from hotel and back, stunning location and the food was delicious classic Italian cuisine!

Really great place. Food excellent and quite a bit cheaper than I expected based on the location and the free shuttle from the hotel. A must if you are in the area.

A short walk from my hotel (Prestige) and you suddenly feel as though you're entering a private domain. The entrance is majestic, especially at the end of the day when the sun is beginning to set and the sky takes on that magical hue. The views are breathtaking no matter where you are seated. I arrived when the restaurant was still nearly empty (around 7:30 p.m.) but was welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. The menu is not extensive but offers a wide variety of reasonably priced dishes. Pasta, fish and meat. The grilled squid was a generous portion, simple but tasty, and cooked to perfection, not chewy at all. I was disappointed with the bread, which seemed a bit stale or perhaps not homemade. The complimentary bruschetta while you're waiting is a nice touch. The ravioli with walnuts and provolone cheese are amazing, full of flavor and creamy. The Neapolitan baba and cream were okay but nothing special, and I found the portion rather small. The view and attentive service made up for the hit or miss food. I went again a few times (it's the only restaurant next to the hotel) and it was overall a pleasant experience. The food is not amazing but good, and the prices are fair. The house white wine is really nice and generously served. The tiramisu is good. But what makes the place really special is the amazing view and the friendly and attentive service by Ornella.
